As of AuthAnvil On-Demand release 2017H Authenticator support is now available for HOTP for Standard / Neo / Yubikey 4. (AAOD was the previous brand name for Passly)
Note: This authenticator only supports generation of a one time password. If you require the use of Push you will need to refer to this article.
Note: This authenticator is an x64 (64 bit) only installer.
Enabling a Yubikey during Enrollment
Users can choose to use a Yubikey as their authenticator option during enrollment
- Launch the enrollment link.
- Select lets get started.
- Select Yubikey (Requires Yubikey programmer).
- Select (download installer).
- Once the installer is downloaded launch yubikeyprogrammer.msi
- Select Next.
- Agree to the User license agreement. Select Install.
- Select Finish.
- Select Launch Programmer. This will open the Yubikey Programmer on your local machine.
- Select Yes once you verify that the Yubikey is not already assigned to a user.
- Select OK.
- Select the field for "Enter your One-Time Password". Tap the button your Yubikey (Ensure that the Yubikey is inserted in an open USB port).
- Select Verify & Save.
- Select "Nice, Let's Move On".
Replacing an existing authenticator with a Yubikey
- Log in to your Passly tenant https://(your tenant).my.Passly.com
- Select your user icon in the top right corner.
- Select My Profile.
- Under Multi-factor Authentication select Manage Token.
- Select Yubikey (Requires Yubikey programmer)
- Select (download installer).
- Once the installer is downloaded launch yubikeyprogrammer.msi
- Select Next.
- Agree to the User license agreement. Select Install.
- Select Finish.
- Select Launch Programmer. This will open the Yubikey Programmer on your local machine.
- Select Yes once you verify that the Yubikey is not already assigned to a user.
- Select OK.
- Select the field for "Enter your One-Time Password". Tap the button your Yubikey (Ensure that the Yubikey is inserted in an open USB port).
- Select Verify & Save.
- Select "Nice, Let's Move On".
